Chair yoga is a wonderful way to enjoy all the benefits of traditional yoga while being supported by a chair. A unique, safe, and non-judgmental way of stretching and strengthening is accessible to those with limited mobility, injuries, or those who simply prefer not to do yoga on the mat or standing. Other aspects of yoga practiced are elaxation, breathing techniques (pranayama), mindfulness, and meditation. The goal of the class is to promote a sense of well-being and tranquility for the body, mind, and soul.
